Again (Baroque)

March 15, 2018 4:19 AM

Again, but with harpsichord/flute/organ synthesizers (I think), and harmonies. All synthesizer and harmony additions by my very talented friend Jonathan Russell.

Even though I'm sentimentally attached to the previous version since I recorded all of it, I love and prefer this version because I think it emphasizes the lighter aspects of the tune, so there is more of a contrast between the downbeat lyrics and the upbeat music.

This whole album by Jonathan is gold, but here's my favorite if you have time for one: Roving Love.

Very nice touches on an already great song. It's lovely. Both are.

I love this so much. The song, the harmonies, the light, floating, trebly synths. Kudos, truly. I'm going to listen to it again now.
