No Go

Short, rocking song I wrote about an idiot who's in over his head. It's built around a guitar part that was stuck in my head and a surf drum beat.

A quick revelation: the Awesome Boys are me. Recorded in a cabin on the shores of Lake Pepin in a motherfucker of a snowstorm. Part of a larger EP that I'll probably post here piecemeal.

Oh man. This is what I come here for. You're really using everything to its full potential. I'm not sure if that's a compliment, but. Those synth flourishes come in to kill and to make clean. The parts after that first verse are the parts that are getting sampled by future dumpster diving mutants. If that doesn't sound positive, well you should meet my dumpster-diving mutant friends. One of them is from the future. He's a senator.
