Special Teams

Tried a bunch of new stuff this time round. It's a dance trance but I played almost everything live, including the drums which were "performed" on the keyboard, because I'm not a drummer. The only things that were automated were the drum fills, crash cymbals, and the marimba/piano 2 patterns.

I am into this! Particularly, the way the piano riff never lets up. It borders on new music minimalism, while still being fun.

It kind of works right!? Like when it repeats enough it kind of fades into the background and becomes almost like part of the rhythm section rather than being an actual melodic riff or whatever, very much a Steve Reich kind of trick. That is totally what I am going for so your feedback totally made my day, cheers!!
