Heat

Something from my RPM Challenge album. Due to the methodology of its production, (read details here) all the songs on the album are pretty rough, but I'm going to post a few of the more successful experiments. The songs on this album are all about one of my favorite topics, the end of the world.

The lyrics:

Maybe it will just get
hotter hotter
melt the ice
and boil the water
maybe the seas will rise
and rise
consume our works
watch as
the information age dies
what will rise
with the tides
to replace
this hopeful
wasteful careless race
something on stilts
on hills on boats
guess we might really
finally
find out just what floats

Interesting sound on the keys/software. I need to check out that software.

It's a flat-out bargain, sleeping bear. I mean, sleepy pete (yeah, I been stalkin' you on RPM. Not really, your album cover popped up on the gallery highlight one time though).

Wow, sleeping bear is my Asian name, I'm really surprised you knew that (I was also wondering if that would ever show up on the gallery. I almost didn't put it on there, but I figured I might as well. Really, though, I'm hoping the Paul Bunyan statue shows up more).

But, uh yeah, I do like this. Post more.

Heh, no, I didn't know that - I just noted that your name here was sleepy pete, and your album declared that you were a bear, and you were asleep - thus I created a new name for you.

Kismet.

More tracks to come.
