Appear Amid
Song from 2010. I think this was the peak of my abilities in trying to make my whistling sound like some sort of saw/e-bow/loon combo. Identical guitar part to the end of my song Apfel Augen. Whistling with stairwell reverb, guitar, and a couple pulsing effects I added in a just-now-at-3am-we'll-see-what-it-sounds-like-in-the-morning fever.
Sunday Morning
A Sunday morning here.
Window
A new Grandma Sylvias track. Sort of supposed to be a cross between "10:15 Saturday Night" and Delta blues. Features hesitant guitar playing, a burst of noise at the end, occasional whistling, and the usual tape hiss.
Bury Your Tracks
A more ambitious song I've been working on for a while. Would really, really love any feedback. [more inside]
So, Why Not?
More 4-track clearance. This time, it's a happy, bouncy ditty from 1993: two guitars, some whistling and happily mumbled lyrics. Recorded probably with Fleetwood Mac's Tusk on the brain, with all knobs turned up to eleven. [more inside]
En la zafra
Small song I did for a weekly TV show in Venezuela.
