i'm a piece of hell

I'm a piece of hell, burning like a champ. I'm in love with you. I don't know exactly what you're supposed to do about it. (it's a touch noisy)

wrote this song drunk one day. just kinda picked up the guitar and out it came. this version is pretty much exactly faithful to the original. enjoy.

two quick notes:
1) technically, the last line is, "do about that," and, even more technically the last line is, "fuck yeah."
2) this is the second consecutive post i've made to mefi music of a song composed while under the influence (the cupcake song being the former). but don't worry kids. i'm not an alcoholic. i mean, sure, i'm a little buzzed right now. but it's 2 in the pm. all bets have been off since noon.

crunchy tone from that guitar, im diggin the raw sound, reminds me of my house party days listenin basement bands, some of the best music comes from basements.

There's NOTHING wrong with a little alco-fuel. And yea, you sound pretty on fire here. Diggin' it!

I really like it.

Don't change a thing.

This rocks. Great feel: loose enough in certain ways, tight enough in others. Very satisfying.

It's definitely all your own, but I hear slight echoes of the pixies, sonic youth, and maybe even early replacements (I hope you take that as a compliment).

Alcohol or not, this is a great track. You've got a good sound.

Reminds me of the early 00's indie rock scene (think Q and Not U, Les Savy Fav, etc). Definitely keep it up!

This reminds me of everything I liked about the Afghan Whigs back in 1991. It rocks, and aches soooo bad.... right HERE.
