Blankets and Pillows

April 3, 2008 10:39 AM

Recorded last summer sometime, was on a solo album I produced.

My dad sang the backup vocal parts. Chad Kramer played bass. Jamin Arvig played mandolin.

This is just really great. And what beautiful sounds. When the electric guitar came in, I realized that I can't wait to get home and crank this up. Nice work.

Good to see you're going to keep posting! Really sweet. The electric guitar worked unexpectedly well, here.

This is gorgeous, has made me much feel better while working on my university dissertation. Love that country tremolo guitar. Thanks!

Nicely recorded. I love the steady background noise goin' on - gives it so much atmosphere. Reminds me I need to get my dad over to my place for some good ol' dad-harmonizing.

Wow. Wow. Really nice. Pretty. Sweet. Actually gives me a chill. I'm saving this one.

I like the rhythm of the chorus -- the way it ends just a little sooner than you expect.

I really like the title, too.

Awesome.
I love how your dad sings his s's the same way as you.

I like how spare this is, and how the piano, mandolin and electric guitar are mixed so small.
