Overload

An abstract electronic piece; some of the piano riffs later through the song sound like they're being pushed too fast, which led me to the title.

Another attempt at working with Logic Express to produce something that sounds cool. Much of the piano is myself, most everything else is samples. This is definitely background music, but should fill that role well.

I was trying to work that out as I listened. While I largely agree, it never completely sounded backgroundy. Every now and then there'd be something that grabbed my attention if I drifted, like some of the gaps you cut into some of the drum loops or those piano bits that pushed the rhythm a bit.

Anyway: nice piece! Logic is a lot of fun, eh?

There's something cinematic about this. I'm thinking of a montage scene where the heroes are all studying for the big exam, or trying to crack the secret code, or analyzing data from the crime scene, something like that. Very cerebral and fun.
