Astral Funk from my improv trio, Carbon 7. This is what happens when you let the drummer set the theme of the jam.
Clocking at a relatively reasonable six and a half minutes, it's another spontaneous composition. It begins so suddenly because I was still reaching over to tap the R key when Dennis fired up. I don't think we had a chance to even discuss a key. Recorded during the minutes before the full eclipse, Sunday night, May 19th.

Sweet groove, and a great sound on the recording. This track has excitement and intrigue. The best kind of impromptu.
