Coming late to this great mefimusic challenge. So many I still want to cover, but here's my noir version of umbú's excellent Kitten (in my robot purse), a song that packs way more adorable and awesome into less than three minutes than should feasibly fit. Hope I'm doing it justice. [more inside]

A Magnetic Fields cover I recorded recently. I've been working on my singing for a while, and I was mostly wondering if anyone had any suggestions on where to go from here in improving it? Any other feedback is also welcome, of course.

A lo-fi cover of a lo-fi song by the Mountain Goats, from Zopilote Machine. Made in GarageBand, vocals recorded with built-in mike. I'm brand-new at this, so I welcome technical advice about how the mixing, recording, use of loops, etc. can be improved.

Semi-acoustic cover of "Mrs. Green" by the power pop band the Posies. This was done by a 3 piece band (two guitars, one bass) group I was in a while back. (We never could find a drummer, so...) I'm singing lead and also a back up part near the end. The other band members are Chris Otto and Terri Doherty. Chris did lead guitar, backing vocals, and some keys. Terri played bass. I think I did some random percussion and guitar strumming as well. (Please delete when/if covers are determined to be a problem here.)
