Stuck out on

My lyric-writing "system" has often been dozens of little stickies on the desktop, thoughts, ideas, scribbles... and then sometimes when I'm frustrated I'll make a song made up of various combinations that seem to make sense. Like this one!

So, when are you coming to Seattle so I can watch you play live?

And with that thought, where is Metafilter-Palooza?

Wow, I really, really love this. This is perfect road-tripping music. I am imagining myself driving down CA-1, headed South through Gaviota, with the sunlight at that liminal, golden stage before sunset. Beautiful.

Is it just me, or have you really been kicking ass lately? This, again, is just some great pickin' and singin'!

Would love to have that banjo pickin' on some of my songs. It sounds nice. Good vocals too, especially enjoyed the background vocals. Interesting track.

Oh fucking sweet. Full of gravity. Spare, aching lyrics.

Do you imagine these songs when you are in the O.R. operating on someone?

Bloody hell, I have no idea how I didn't see this song before. Like snsranch said, you just keep getting better. I've been telling myself that I gotta stop posting cool-song-congrats kind of comments here, and that I should try to give more useful feedback, but there is nothing I could add to this song, it's brilliant. Congrats
(damn!)

Really pretty. Kind of reminds me of Sun Kil Moon.
