You Were Not Built To Last

As much of an experiment in Wacky Vocal Effects as it is a proper song, from my point of view. I like the end bit with the keyboard part and the strange cycling. I'm surprised at how many people I've shown my RPM challenge entry to really like this one (It's one of the underdeveloped ones, as far as I'm concerned).

I kind of agree with you that this is the foundation of a song rather than a fully formed one. But I really enjoyed the foundation and think you could carve something great out of this. The vocal effect, rather than just being a gimmick, becomes kind of hypnotic. I think I'd enjoy a different vocal part on top in parts of the track, recorded without effects.

That's more or less how I feel about it, actually.

It's a little too formless and basic right now, but I have a vague sense as to what parts I'd cut out of this and start building from if I wanted to make a real song out of it. I dunno if I'll ever do that or not.
