Balkan Red Alert, Part I

Balkan-tinged surf-rock ode to Gavril Princip from Cesare Gorgeous & The Strange Attractors. That's me (Cesare) on, um, everything. Previously in the same ilk: A Theory of Everything. More to come.

Neat, it's darker than a lot of surf-rock.

What are your influences? Original surf rock, or stuff like the Red Elvises, SCotS, etc.?

I was one-fifth of the UK's Dead Man's Curve. We were part of the so-called third wave of surf, mostly influenced by the originals, especially Dick Dale, but also Joe Meek and that stuff. Of modern stuff I love the Bambi Molesters and Laika & The Cosmonauts.
But we all played in indie/thrash bands before turning to surf so go figure.

Excellent. Gives me the urge to surf a wave of blood in slow motion.

Heh. The only way this could be better is with panning and phasers all over it. Fun stuff.

I love this sinister-but-cool surf sound, but I wish the drums sounded a little meatier, and less tight & trebley
