I Want You Back

Everybody driving by my window the last three weeks has been blasting Michael Jackson, I couldn't help myself. Maybe got a bit carried away. Many apologies to James Jamerson.

The latest from Jon Good and his All-Jon Good Orchestra, played into garageband via a macbook mic: 3 trombones, 2 trumpets, piano (i had to bring the computer to my parents' house), 2 guitars, 1 bass, garageband drums, and all 5 Jacksons.

I fucking love motown, and their prodigious use of layers upon layers of fantastic accompaniment.

Quick question. Did you really play all the instruments?

micayeoteca: the drums are sampled, otherwise yes.

Man, you are in serious danger of being kidnapped by me to fuse our one-man-bands. This sounds fantastically well! Great playing, Jon_Evil.

Excellent. This is a truly ambitious version. It may give me the courageous to post my shuggie otis over I've had under wraps for years.

I read that at first as J. Jonah Jameson and was really confused.

Might as well apologize to him as well, and everybody else who decides to listen to my ridiculous falsetto.

If there's something I don't love about this, I can't find it. If you ever invite MeFites over for an evening of playing covers of songs that nobody there has ever played before, count me in.
