Yellow (Mic Test Demo)

I wrote this orginally as the intended soundtrack for a music video for consumption by my toddler niece—video footage of various yellow objects found in downtown portland (and a few red ones).

The video never got made; the song never got a proper planned-out recording; and my band at the time ended up working out a markedly different take on it for which I wrote some actual lyrics.

I can see how this could turn into a really good song. It's catchy. I like the vocal harmonies. Nice recording quality too.
