(Not) Missing You

Cortex and snsranch play music under me turning John Waite's "Missing You" into an angry phone call.
Apologies to snsranch, who's track I think gets lost under this, but this is like the 3rd time I've ever opened Audacity and ..I am learning.
The idea for this actually came from Cortex's album Inchoatery and the track "get you laid", kinda theatrical non-song with some music under it.

Oh, man, I love the -- well, let's call it the snare -- that's a really great sound.

Ha! It's freaking me out a little that our spoken cadence and tone of voice is not totally dissimilar here. The Get You Laid comparison, yeah. This is like the bitter angry complement to that.

This came out almost exactly as I imagined...1000 times better than the original!
(And don't worry about me, who can compete with cortex while he's banging the hell out of his drums?!!!)

Thanks y'all! This is from the "have a stupid idea and just run with it" school of getting things done, it came out so much better then I intended thanks entirely to snsranch and cortex's music. When I uploaded it I was all :ugh is sounds terrrrrrible" but a few days later and hearing on the Memusic bar makes it sound almost not bad.

Excellent! Collaboration should really be the heart and soul of this site, since we are now in the future, where it's so easy to share tracks. It opens up avenues for art that could never have existed otherwise. The Whelk does a great cortex (or the other way around?). But probably you are both going crazy.
