Good Bye, Stanley

A friend told me all I ever write is ambient stuff (ie) and since she's right but I don't want to admit it, I wrote this. The title comes from a PBF comic I glanced at while trying to think of what to call it. What do you think? Should I stick to my day job?

I don't expect anyone to pick up on this since none of you have heard my stuff, so I might as well tell you that towards the end, when it descends into the final buildup, the reversed strings and much softer beat you hear for about five seconds before it gets overpowered by the screaming guitar is actually a snippet of another song I wrote a while ago. I put it in for the sake of irony, which was not lost on the aforementioned girl.

I like the breaks/transitions. Yea, keep your day job for a bit longer. But keep this up too. I'm a total novice, but it sounded pretty well put together to me.

That was pretty good! I always like it when I forget I'm listening to "MeFi" music and not "real" music. You passed that test.
