Scary Train

October 16, 2010 11:23 AM

made this a few years ago with Beep Map which is a plug in that i have no idea how to use.....but managed to make this...which isnt perfect but oh well

kind of an accidental creation....there is a plug in in my music program called Beep Map.....you pretty much import bitmaps and it turns the colors into sounds or something like that...anyway it being October (Halloween) it reminded me of it...

the original sound that i created with Beep Map is the intro from 0:00 to 0:18 the clickity clack of the train which sounds horrible is not part of the Beep Map sound....just the hollow distorted flute-ish whistling sound... this sound will go on forever (i think) and it was kinda boring...so i thought i wonder what would happen if i sped it up some and thats when it started to sound like a train horn....i know i didnt explain it very welll...but i did this a few years ago with a plugin that i didnt know how to use ....but i think it sounds neat.....anyway thanks for listening

This reminds me of a mini-moog that I had years ago. This is definitely going on my haunted house playlist!

Was there a haunted train in one of the old SNES Final Fantasy games? That's what this puts in my head, with the little ghosts and as such.
