Creepy Doll

A special reminder for all concerned, in this special time of year: Friends don't let friends self-immolate.

Originally by Jonathan Coulton (from the brilliantly titled Thing a Week Four). Drums were sequenced in Finale; they were initially just a reference track, but I couldn't get the kind of sound I wanted from my real drum kit, so it stuck.

Recorded at the Rotatable, Tremulant Studio, and produced at the Consortium of Sonic Miscellany and School of Ostentatious Jiggery Pokery:

Timbill Corder (me) – Lead/harmony vocals, solo horn, eBowed guitbass, 3-string basitar, effects, laughter, drums/sequencing, arrangement, producer
Trey Beauregard (man vs sun) – Solo baritone sax, guitbass, flaut, laughter, recording engineer
Melissa Burcham (pheatherwait) – Solo floot, dual-wielding psychotic bass floots, laughter
Tommy Scheurich – Solo viola, solo cello, assorted artificial double stops, string quartet (viola++, cello++)

Fantastic! I'm a sucker for the ghost of Paul McCartney's good ole days. "Cranberry Sauce."

Hmm. A beatles parallel was unintentional, but certainly a bit of happy coincidence. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
