Yummy (Electronugget Mix)
December 22, 2011 5:02 PM
A grooving house remix I did of my own track from the ultra-upbeat original soundtrack of my latest game project, Mighty Switch Force (3DS eShop).
I am nervous about posting music here from a commercial project, but hopefully based on my history, you already know that while game music is my day job, I'm a hobbyist first and foremost. No ulterior commercial motives, just wanna share fresh jams and get you dancing in your chair, and possibly naked.
Because I work with some of the world's best 2D sprite artists, I tend to get insanely passionate about the projects I'm on, and go way beyond what's expected. For Switch Force, I wrote about 3x more music than was necessary for the rather small game, just so I could make an album out of it, and spread some funky happiness!
The soundtrack is available for free (The "Buy Now" link is there for an optional donation, but $0 is perfectly valid, no strings attached, no DRM, no guilt trips! Enjoy! Happy Hanukkah!) from my Bandcamp site.
I got some of my best friends to contribute several other remixes, including a duo who previously composed an entire soundtrack to an H-game / eroge dating sim that doesn't exist. Just thinking about that blows my mind a little.
Hope you all have an amazing holiday, and thanks for providing me with a ton of beautiful indie music to listen to over the years. Even though I mostly lurk, I listen to a ton of you guys and gals!

Not normally a fan of gated leads, but you're definitely making it work for you.

Oh, crap, you're the Golfsauce guy! You did the music for MSF? And the new Bloodrayne? AND SHANTAE: RISKY'S REVENGE?! Holy shit.
A significant reason behind my purchase of all three of those games was the music.
I think I hate you in a way that makes you completely certain that I actually love you.
::Tromps off to get all the music from bandcamp site, to the tune of Golfsauce::
