Climbing Up the Walls

Well, this is my cheater because Let Down is my song. But it is turning out to be difficult, so I've been working up a few others to play when I get pissed off at Let Down.

It's a little nervy. But I haven't had luck with any other takes so this is as good as it'll get. I may or may not make up my own lyrics at times. I saw conflicting sources, and I've been listening to Radiohead for a really long time I still don't know what the fuck Thom says like 60% of the time.

I like! The nervy vox and the rhythmic presence of the piano playing work nicely together, and a way that had me immediately thinking for the first time that this is a song Tori Amos could have eaten for lunch if she took a liking to it. Big difference in feel from the claustrophobic filtered-vox feel of the original.

Thanks, cortex. I still, however, wish I could do the scream at the end, but the fact is I am just a bad screamer. Or maybe I just haven't found the proper motivation.

At any rate, I can think of worse fates than being eaten for lunch by Tori Amos.
