So Much More

Just got a new zoom h6 to record with. Guitar, vocals, whistling, and a 1930's Dogherty pump organ.
I've been switching off of electronic music lately, and have been working pretty hard on some new guitar stuff. I just got the new recording gear, so this is the first track to get put down. I've been looking for an excuse to use the pump organ in something, and I think it fits really well here.
I've also got a bunch of acoustic and electronic stuff on Soundcloud

Great job! This is a lovely song. I admire the guitar playing very much and the organ sounds really nice. Also, this Zoom H6 looks so amazing. Is it?
(In fact, reading your song description was kind of like an out-of-body experience because I usually record with a Zoom H2 and use guitar, pump organ and whistling a lot, for example [minus whistling, tho])

I've got a friend with the H2, and comparing them, the H6 is pretty rad. It's hard to tell, but the whistling part gets up to 6 tracks, and there's so little noise it's ridiculous. Granted, I'm not using the Zoom's mic, but I'm only using a cheap mxl kit for the instruments and an n767a for the vocals.
The interface is pretty nifty. The volume dials are a huge improvement over the H2. That, and there's a ton more internal customization options. Imo, it's totally worth it if you record a lot.
Also, nice track. That's organ sounds a lot less broken than mine! I'm trying to find a way to work in some more organ into my tracks without it sounding weird.

Nice work and not just this track. I'm currently listening to your SC page. It's all really good.
