You Only Care...

Just finished writing a new song :) I was trying an experiment using to convey a good part of the emotion in it. Oh also, playing with a new tuning I found while trying to learn a Nick Drake song. CGCGCG I like it but I'll have to play with it more.

Lovely. Something about bending those minor 3rds in open tunings just gets straight in my bones. You should dick around with a slide!

I use a similar tuning (low to high) C G D G B D - essentially an open G chord with a C bass note - Inverted G11 I guess? - but have an irrational fear of snappage while tuning that B string to a C for your one.

I have a guitar set up for doing slide, but I have been wanting to do more with it. I have a hankering to build myself a lap steel here one of these days.

I should also try your tuning! That sounds like a lot of fun!

That low C rattling on the frets reminds me of Joni Mitchell's stuff. Good tune, well-played.
