Just finished writing a new song :) I was trying an experiment using to convey a good part of the emotion in it. Oh also, playing with a new tuning I found while trying to learn a Nick Drake song. CGCGCG I like it but I'll have to play with it more.
Albert Ayler wrote music about ghosts, witches, devils, demons, and angels. The levels on this range widely. If you use a compressor, you get a declawed piece, but not the one I wrote. [more inside]
This is the reaction to my constant enthusiasm about music theory: I strung up my first guitar, a 3/4 size steel-string classical, with a mismatch of electric guitar strings, and tuned it BF#BBBD#. Then just played whatever. It made for an entertaining spring break and a kind of 'endearing' song.
Basically two songs merged together that had the same open C tuning. It involves banging on the desk and clinking a glass.
