You Can't See It

My son asked me to record his heartbeat for some school thing a few months ago.
I had this heartbeat lying around so I added some Moog to it and Bob's your uncle it became a synthpop song.

I like it, but can you boost the heartbeat track? It gets lost behind the others.

Yeah who knew a heartbeat was so hard to record? Even with an AKG c414 pressed against my son's chest and pre-amp cranked (while he was instructed not to breathe) the resulting signal was really quiet.
The gain is maxed out and it's heavily EQ'd because it's basically all low-end. I ended up just basing the track on the heartbeat; the actual heartbeat is heard in the beginning, then in the middle break embellished with the kick, then at the end. I took it out for the rest and it's just sort of suggested, that's why you can't hear it throughout.
Thanks for the comments!

Jammin'. Breathy harmonies, boppin' moog beat, snappy snare. Tappin' my toes, grinnin'.
