Well Well

For song #8 of Unu Kanto Po Semajno, we answer the question, "What happens when not_on_display figures out he can just drag .mp3's into Garageband and manipulate them?" Some funky goddamn psychedelic shit, you'd better believe.

Five Tracks plundered:

Captain Beefheart, "Well" (Here's the Live version)

Rush, the first two bars of "Tom Sawyer" [best song ever written and I will fight you over this.]

The Police, the first four bars of "Bring on the Night". I also want to mash that whole song up with Stevie Nicks' "Edge of Seventeen" because the beginning drum parts neatly match up and are close in tempo, and the songs' dynamics rise and fall in similar frames of time.

Frankie Smith, the part in "Double Dutch Bus" where they give him a "HO!" if they got their funky bus fare. (Incorrectly listed as Frankie White in the comments metadata)

Boom BAP boom BAP. Tik Tik Tik Tik. Most excellent and skilled collage, helping beat the April snow away here in New England. Lots of fun!
