Thanks! They're really fun to record and post. Although sometimes I feel like I'm just being lazy.

I like what you're doing, but I feel like I'm missing out on a really good song because I'm hearing only one track of it. My brain kept insisting that there should be a band behind it, and it filled in the blanks. There was a female lead singer with a deep and commanding voice. There was a pulsating bass and spare but loud percussion. The video's style seemed to have lots of neon triangles. That's what my brain was doing while I listened to this. Still, it was nice to listen to it.

Thanks, not_on_display; I myself imagine this one as the synth solo of a 15-20min prog rock song, so your comments are very apt. I added a lot of reverb to simulate the "Tony Banks playing an arena show" kinda vibe.

omg tony banks solo had me laughing. the intospective part of the song, right as section 1 rises to a climax and some question has been raised... then it's just these chords... Midway thru, when the tone of the song gets all submerged, phil collins will start adding subtle fills, and peter gabriel will wail or whisper something dramatic and thematic when the synths get louder. and soon after this track ended, the band kicks in for section 2 ... now i get it!
