You Don't Know Me

I came up with the chorus in the shower this morning and decided to record something by day's end.
This is a solo jaunt for me, on ye olde Fender Vintage Modified Telecaster Thinline, Super Champ XD, and Shure SM58-X2U, with tracking in GarageBand and mastering with Landr. So this one goes under the Zuma and the Sin Finders moniker. If this were on an album and that album had a title, right now I'd call it Americana K-Hole.
This isn't the most original pop song I've ever written—it's kind of like Michelle Branch meets Bush somewhere in Sahara Hotnights territory—but it was a fun one. The vocals and harmony are a little weak in spots, 'cause I didn't feel like redoing some of the lines, but that means it's mostly single-stage-to-orbit today. I like how this turned out for a late afternoon's work.
