Brittle Hope

Made this somewhat experimental ambient-ish piece last night, feeling a tiny bit of hope about the world. It's based on slowed-down samples of a hang-drum, with a keyboard part doing most of the rest.
Hey MeFi Music, it's been a few years since my last post! I'm still making music whenever I have the time, though mostly instrumental stuff that goes to a music library for occasional inclusion in tv shows and movies (like in the background while people argue about who the father is, etc).
I'd find it helpful if you can tell me what artists this sounds like, and the more well-known references the better. Thanks!

If you say "ambient" everyone will say "Brian Eno". But it's always surprising how far back musical ideas go. This calls Chick Corea's "Children's Song" to mind. You got a unique sound with the hang drum sample - very cool. Just noticed you left me a comment, too - thanks!

Ah, Chick Corea — thanks, I'll check out "Children's Song!"
