This is a new song by The Harvey Girls that will be released in a few months on SVC Records, but I’m too excited to wait to post it, mainly because we’ve had it sitting around in various forms for about a year and a half. I recorded it and played some of the stuff, it has melissa may singing and playing keyboard and cortex singing backing vocals, as well as some other folks who aren’t mefites. It was mastered by our pal Steve down in TX somewhere. An older version appeared on dobbs blogathon to raise money for Sweet Relief.
This is our buddy Lazlo.
Some lines borrowed and tweaked from this guy.
Also, some lines are based on this painting.

I was under the impression that The Harvey Girls were a country/old-timey band because of, I guess, The Wharvey Girls in Oh Brother.

This one is quite cool. All those voices go really well with the song. Congrats on the new release.

What a nice full sound with those voices. I wasn't expecting this. Right on to you and your band mates. And congrats on your upcoming release!
