thanks to AskMe/MuFi folks I got some new gear which isn't synched up quite right yet. (That's why this song sounds all out of tune and stuff.) But at least I can record some electric guitar now!

Hey!!!! you finally got the mic! what guitar did you buy in the end?

This sounds fun and it goes with the recent trend here in Metafilter Music of only having music on the left side! What else did you buy?

Hey Mica! I got the mic (it's nice) and a new external sound card. The card replaces the one in my laptop and also replaces my old mixer. I have to get some new cables (I think thats why it's only on the left) and I have a lot of learning to do. Thanks for talking me into getting the mic. I don't have anything MuFi worthy yet, but the sound is BEAUTIFUL!

Get ready, man. You are about to rediscover your voice. It's amazing what happens with a condenser mic. Singing will be a lot easier, you'll discover you can do than you thought you could, with a lot less effort.
