@Ummagma 'Kiev' (Haioka Remix)
I think the term remix is a big put off for many people and, if measuring according to the number of remixes out there that are just so standard dance-floor filler, it's understandable why there is such a stigma attached to this word. But there are moments of light shooting through when a producer or gifted musician manage to 'reconstruct' a song rather than just 'remix' it. Likely that's where the term 'rework' has started to become used more and more often.... to set them apart. Whatever you want to call it - here is one such track that differs significantly from the original in all it's stunning rework/remix glory. Kudos to Japanese producer Shintaro Haioka for this gift to Ummagma.
Beautiful Moment / Talk to Her @Ummagma
So I've uploaded the track for 'Beautiful Moment' here, but I also want you to have the track ''Talk to Her'', so grab it here. The first is laced with male vocals, while the second is an instrumental with guitar trickery reminiscent of Robert Fripp or Brian Eno or even Bill Evans a bit.

There is such a thing as light-imbued melancholy. This song shows that @Ummagma is among a cozy handful of bands nowadays who seem to thrive on achieving that combination. You can find Ummagma here too. [more inside]
office house dub 5.1 gitch pop mix
Deconstruction and rebuild of office house dub 3.3.3 aiming for an inspiration somewhere between Boards of Canada, Nurse with Wound, Aphex Twin and proto-punk Nico/Velvet Underground. This is intentionally very experimental, abstract, noisy, tweaky, melodic and glitchy. [more inside]

Floating
An atmospheric interlude that briefly teases a song, written for my unborn son. I tried to convey a feeling of floating around in an amniotic sac with brief moments of activity that go away as quickly as they appear. [more inside]
eight minutes till today becomes tomorrow
A subdued synthetic rock/instrumental track by me. If you like Sigur Ros, you might like this.
Monsoon
Something sweet and mellow to watch the rain by. Hot off the press.
Luna Iridia
Something mellow and electronic. Soft synths. Sleep music.
The Earthquake was a Disaster
Picture yourself experiencing an earthquake in slow motion. The eerie calm beforehand leading up to the main event itself. Relax and let yourself live through this instrumental story all the way to the finale.
Sprinkled with memories of "Close Encounters of the Third Kind."
Like There's No Tomorrow
This is a mid-tempo groovy electronic tune of mine. For fans of Air, Boards of Canada, and any other psychedelic-tinged chill music. Quite good with headphones! [commonly under pseudonym "Stereopattern"]
Complex Reasons
A hauntingly mellow groove highlighted by Sylvia Plath's "Mushrooms" as performed by the poet herself.
