I received a violin bow this weekend it's been really exciting and fun using it to play the electric guitar, so I thought I'd post a quick and dirty new cover of the Magnetic Fields song "Grand Canyon". ORthey requested that I do a cover of "The Luckiest Guy on the Lower East Side" (by The Magnetic Fields) and so here it is. He wanted me to use autoharp and drum machine, but because I am churlish I did not in fact use either. And to add insult to injury, I didn't even sing it myself! I got my wife to do it! [more inside]
A Magnetic Fields cover I recorded recently. I've been working on my singing for a while, and I was mostly wondering if anyone had any suggestions on where to go from here in improving it? Any other feedback is also welcome, of course.
