Not bad, pretty catchy, would listen again. I'm not musical so I can't give you any tips, but I like indie/shoegaze, fwiw. posted by chlorus at 12:26 PM on

First? Congrats! You're off to a fine start; it's a real groover. Hooked to death maybe, but that's a matter of context I reckon, and it's a good hook.
And I knew your handle looked familiar. posted by cortex at 1:04 PM on

Hooked to death maybe, I was about to type, "That's where the guitar solo goes." Exactly when the solo started. But then the hook continued. Ha!
This is great. I imagine/hope we'll hear much more! posted by snsranch at 1:40 PM on

Dude, my first song written/recorded involved me trying not to drop the guitar. You're wayyyy ahead! posted by ORthey at 5:52 PM on

I really like the vocal production. There is great attitude in this. Your performance is good too although I'd like it more if it were slightly less "spoken-word"-like -- ie, cram a little more melody into the vocal.
My first song sounded like the theme song to a primitive hello kitty video game. posted by edlundart at 6:52 PM on

Very nice, i dig. Only complaint is it's a bit dry, run each track though a bussed reverb and you'll be golden. Reminds me of brian jonestown massacre. posted by waxboy at 12:29 AM on

I love it, the chorus got a little old after it repeated so long but other than that great stuff. posted by pwally at 3:53 PM on

You might want to work a bit on 'humanizing' the drum track a bit.
but otherwise, pretty good. posted by dunkadunc at 1:13 AM on
