Where you gonna get your good things now?

One of my favorite chord progressions ever. A demo from about 1995 for a notional solo album, and for once I sound like I'm actually worked up about something, which I was.

WHERE YOU GONNA GET YOUR GOOD THINGS NOW?
words/music @ J Brownlow

Maybe I knew
Maybe I didn't know
About the things you always hid

Maybe I do
And maybe I just don't care
About the things you said and did

And I can't even be angry about you
All I think about is what you're gonna do

And where you're gonna get your good things now.
Where you gonna get your good things now?
Where you gonna get your good things now?

Sometimes you said
That you'd be better dead
Stuck on a pin I couldn't see

All I could do
Was say that I needed you
And would you stick around for me?

And you though something better came along
But everything you thought was right has turned out wrong

Where you gonna get your good things now?
Where you gonna get your good things now?
Where you gonna get your good things now?

nice guitar. sounds like it was beamed in from 1973, which is always good!
