Spacetime

A little progish - lots of analog synth, lots of interesting sounds, harmonies, counterpoint, a little odd meter, hopefully pretty catchy chorus, and one of the more obscure lyrics I've written (lyrics inside)... lots of stuff!

A local disturbance on the boundary line
Beginning of a fundamental change
Degenerate data, mechanical minds
Too rigid to release or rearrange

Our senses are sure the picture is perfect
And the world itself is distorted
Somehow the flaw is larger than life
But our senses misrecord it

Spacetime unwinds so deep in my mind
Black holes I find destroy the heartlines

A global agreement, a temporal truce
Here and now will never be the same anymore
Unlimited canvas of limited use
For time will not submit to being framed anymore

Our minds are made up, the moral is clear,
Our senses can't be trusted
Final and firm, yet it somehow appears
That our minds are misadjusted

Spacetime unwinds so deep in my mind
Black holes I find destroy the heartlines
The tower is built in six stages
We seek control but rarely find it
Out of the dark ages
Speak the word and redefine it
Here and now, never before, never again
The moment dies, but the cycle never ends

Our minds, our senses are broken lenses
Somehow the flaw is larger than life

This is great! I'm glad you posted that comment in MeTa or I would have missed this.
