Human Factor

Imagine a carefree diva singing in a non-chalent way as she looks out the window of the passenger side during a road trip. The soundtrack to her ride is based on an indie rock slide-guitar laced tune, which builds in intensity throughout the ride until bang - confusion and collision. That is this Ummagma song in a nutshell, message and all.

Seems we’re all out of time
Never quite a chance to unwind
Fighting fire, fighting it with fire
Just might get burned

Seems the more that we earn
The more that we spend
The less we’re concerned
About anybody but ourselves
And you think we’d learn

Find yourself on that line
Time for analyzing your life
Got to asking what could
Make you whole

It’s not the things that you buy
The clothes that you wear
The car that you drive
Not anything that can be bought or sold

Must be out of your mind
To scale down the human factor
Say it’s to make time for personal betterment
Of your soul
And you sure must be blind
If you can’t see before you
The consequences when human nature
Is traded for gold

Great song!

Perfect balance between all the factors, great mix, might be peaking a bit but hey! That just gives it that extra edge ;)

This song is very strong. The groove is super solid. The drums in particular sound very nice.
