Ringfinger (by Nine Inch Nails)
This was my submission to a project in which various artists covered songs from Nine Inch Nails' Pretty Hate Machine using at least one circuit bent or modified instrument (Soundcloud link). This one uses a reklus-modified Korg DDD1 and Monotribe (along with a sweet ring modulator he built).
Up Above the Young Rhine (Oben am jungen Rhein - Liechtenstein)
Presenting Anthemic: a collection of abstract interpretations of various obscure, entertaining, odd, or otherwise intriguing national anthems. We start with a fairly harmless country, and a fairly harmless interpretation of a fairly harmless anthem. [more inside]

Essential Elements for Developmentally Challenged Instruments
Antepuntal Regression
The first track of the night's session, which may very well become a new entry in our An Evening With... series. This week featured special guest Luke Furman, and his wonderful array of toys/instruments, including several Ocarinas...Ocarinae? Ocar-enises? [more inside]
Creepy Doll
A special reminder for all concerned, in this special time of year: Friends don't let friends self-immolate. [more inside]
Ignominy
Paraselene Motorway
Other acceptable responses would be "Moon Dog Highway," "False Moon Interstate," or "I'm Making Crap Up Because Titling Instrumental Pieces is an Exercise in Futility in the First Place" [more inside]

Something horrible has happened in this place. It will never be the same. Be thankful you weren't present. [more inside]
I'll Be Your Mirror
Short and sweet; a more structured offering, as well. [more inside]
Brain in a Jar
I've been working on this song for the past few months. This is the result of my trying to write something sad. Unfortunately, my recording computer died last week, so some bits final mix came out sounding a little more sloppy than intended as there were a couple things I wanted to re-record. Also, I'm terrible at writing second verses.
I Gave You Lots of Presents (But You Left Me In the Past)
A tale of love long lost. If you're going to try and buy happiness, remember to keep the receipt. Autoharp, vocals, and a little bit of honky-tonk toy piano. [more inside]
The Madness Encroaches
So, for this year's RPM Challenge I have decided to go all out and write a rock opera. This is one of the few songs I have worked on so far, and the first one that has been completed. Granted, this should be somewhere in the middle or the rock opera, but, still, it's the first one finished, so I'm posting it anyway. [more inside]
Zillion (cover)
Zillion was a game for the Sega Master System. This is a song from the game (which you can see/hear here -- this song starts about 17 seconds in). I have, however, added lyrics, which are about the game's lack of a save function. With 77 tracks of tiny instruments, this song is probably my grandest musical venture yet. [more inside]
Then She Begins ...
Tonight, I created a really, really, really good remake of an old song of mine. I don't even know if I have a copy of the original anymore, but ... whoa ... this thing ended up being kind of epic. Features horns and toy pianos, a reed organ, both regular and electric ukulele, some drums. I even tried my hand at playing the bass. Short, simple lyrics within (of which I am also rather proud)! Out of Gas
This is a short song I've made for my girlfriend in the past half hour or so. It is a true story.
Colonel Roger (is a Soldier from the Future (is a Cover))
I know this song has been uploaded right at the very end (if not shortly beyond) of the MeFi Music Challenge, but I went through a number of songs in the long debate to find a MeFite's song to cover, eventually landing on the one that most frequently gets stuck in my head. That song is Colonel Roger (is a Soldier from the Future) by chiefbluefeather. [more inside]
I'm Afriad That There Has Been an Accident
But it was quick and it was painless.
Happy
Here is a cheerful ditty for all of you. My one-man-band, drowsy, usually uses autoharp but this song doesn't have any. It does have toy piano, if that's any consolation. (Please let me know if it is not.) [more inside]
Happy Birthday, Mom!
This is a little song I put together for my mom's birthday a few days ago. Unfortunately, tuning was an issue, especially with all the untunables -- the toy piano, old keyboard w/dying batteries, and dollar store recorder. Well, I think it's still kinda fun, regardless.
Shipwrecked!
I wanted to make a song with a few of the instruments I rarely use, like the reed organ and toy piano. I thought about coming up with lyrics, but my hangover makes my brain feel ... not working so good. So I threw in some kazoo instead. Enjoy!
