Nothing messy about this. Looking at the tags, this song makes me think about how diverse those labels actually can be within themselves. I can think of a zillion bands under those labels which sound nothing like this, or something like this, but not exactly like THIS. I do think you're rolling straight down the middle lane of that shoegaze/dreampop highway, like seasoned space truckers with your own custom sleeper cab. Good thing it's an endless road.
