Song for the week. [more inside]
I'm doing a song-a-week thing with someone I knew in school, and this is what I came up with. [more inside]
Generic pop song about nothing, with too much delay.
I've been reading a lot of AskMe.
I took a break from music stuff for six months, and then came up with three songs in rapid succession. I'm out of practice, and I'm not in love with this one, but it's the best of the three. Posting just so I don't completely fall out of the habit.
I stole the words from unSane and turned it into a song with off key whistling.
Messing around with Loopy and a mandolin.
Recorded this today with my group for a class project. Made with actual good quality microphones! [more inside]
I made the bulk of this in Loopy. [more inside]
Inspired by this comment on the blue. Thirty whole seconds of annoying C-G-F-Am ukulele and kazoo action.
I don't think it meets the bar MajorDundee set, but I gave it a shot. Adapted the words from Belladonna. Learned a lot! [more inside]
Sorry about the whistling.
This just sort of happened.
Another cover. I'm really sorry about the clipping at the end! [more inside]
That song you've heard everywhere. [more inside]
Chemistry + a ukulele = my very first MeFi post. I have little to no music experience, so please be gentle! [more inside]
A sad little middle-eastern sounding song with lots of voices. Friends say it could be a theme for a James Bond-esque movie set in the middle east. [more inside]
Sad nintendo music for a sad nintendo boy. [more inside]
A song I wrote to put off studying for my math exam [more inside]
We'll Drive This Car ('Til Hell Is Shooting Out the Stars) - Selected Letters We just played our last show ever this Friday night (a house party at Kenyon College in Ohio - we're all former or current students there) and I wanted to post one of our best songs to commemorate a great year. I miss them already. Selected Letters is: Ira Ochs on the bass guitar Joe Donohue on the guitar Alex Murphy on the drums Evan Axelbaum on the saxophone Riley Witte on the oboe Jeremy Sher (that's me!) on the violin
complete lark! fueled by a bottle of chianti and deep sympathy for a friend smitten with that pesky grad-school-student-loan-debt, i seem to have concocted an acoustic lament on the subject. in an attic, (ok, horrible acoustics, i admit).
