inin (live)
the last track on my htmpng efforts
Chester
Hopscotch
A laptop-demo of a song that I'm doing currently live solo + live with a band. This version if solo + looped, so it's one take, but I'm looking to record it for real pretty soon - so please, I beseech you for constructive criticism! Gracias!
Hopeful Hopeful
A big ol' composition kind of song. Just a little bit like "post-rock" I guess. As before but this time with multiple takes, stereo, and fun little stuff scattered all around. It's also my first project using Logic Pro, which seems to rock
80x80
A song that sort of reminded me of the 80s but really isn't very 80s. Again, just an idea, not a whole production. Please, any criticism or suggestions are totally welcome. Thanks!
Chordish Song
Another song I've recorded this summer, guitar, voice, phrase sampler (you can hear the click triggering the chorus here). As always, critique, etc - I'm totally open to suggestions and ideas as far as where (and whether) to develop these ideas
Piano piano piano
I think this is a pretty fun riff/song. Using a piano, loop pedal, and recording on my laptop
Critique the hell out of it, as usual. (And, yes, I'm technically no pianist.)
Any suggestions about how to 'flesh it out' would be welcome, too!
Bass
This is sort of the summer culmination of a song that me and some of my friends have built up. This version is solo (all of the extra 'tracks' are live loops)
Oh, and critique the hell out of it!
Hopeful Hopeful
It's my usual setup - bedroom recording, loop pedal + Telecaster. This is my more recent sort of loop song, and it has more of a jazzy feel. I run the Tele through a compressor before the loop, too. Yeah, this one's a little long, but I just really, really like it. I recorded it a few minutes ago and was just so happy with how it turned out (I had no idea what it would be) that I'm done for tonight.
Chivalry II
This is the current 'live' (as in, I've played it once in a bizzarro jam-show) version of this song. It's a single take, straight through, using my favorite pedal (a Headrush E2). I'm really, really going to beg for criticism (constructive, or other kinds), since I don't know really what to do with it or what to improve. So, crits? Thanks guys
Class
Unusual music, make with a ukulele, acoustic guitar, and bass, in one shot. Using a MagicStomp as a (very rudimentary) phrase sampler, and Audacity to record. Enjoy
