Ambient instrumental piece. It's a rather ambient dialog between the guitar and a bell-like sine synth. Long pauses. Slow paced. Throughout my life, one of my constant joys was always watching the sun go down. I've seen so many variations of this event that I wanted to express a condensation of the variety and bittersweetness of all those sunsets.

Millimeters of Mercury — S2
Slightly dubstep-inspired, named for the closest star to the supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy (S2). The star is a young star and the fastest-moving massive object in the galaxy, and by metaphor, the song expresses the hubris and beauty of youth.
Radiohead (is too smart for me)
I had a band that was a shameless Tenacious D rip-off back in college, and we spent most of our time writing songs that made fun of artists we thought were lame. Recently, I discovered a cassette tape with an original demo that put the song back into my ear. Out of all the songs, I decided it would be fun to try to make more than just an acoustic song. It might be overkill, but sometimes, so is Radiohead.

A slow and sad song I wrote and recorded after a breakup/separation a few years ago. Features a falsetto chorus and acoustic guitar, including an e-bow undercurrent.
