Honesty
A nearly-finished track. Looking for suggestions. I feel like I should add a field recording of some kind, but I'm not sure what kind. I'm feeling a little bit of speech. [more inside]
the boy in the bubble
an infectious, pounding cover of the Paul Simon classic.
Africa (Dark Continent Mix)
Well, it's different. [more inside]
Space Gait
An electronic dance song I made the other day, but now with more of the flavor of today. [more inside]
Whispers
6 categories of word smithing, one book = bible, and a thesaurus is the brief version! Enjoy... [more inside]
The Feengur Waltz
Distorted dance music, like Black Dice but maybe slightly less abrasive. [more inside]
MJ's Gone
A Boards of Canada-esque song that I made the day that Michael died. [more inside]
Techno Space Chase
I think I actually covered both challenges with this. It's chase music made out of one of the earliest string quartets I'd ever taken a crack at. [more inside]
Hollow Rooms
At home one Saturday night in about 1984, I got interested in just how hard it was to say words backwards, flip the tape, & have them come out intelligible. It took hours, and was much harder than I thought. [more inside]
Portable Acid
Something a bit shorter and more polished with the Korg DS-10 Nintendo DS synth.
the understanding
polyrhythmic minimal techno, with restrained use of vocoders. [more inside]
V-Unit
Moody 120bpm synth techno soundtrack, inspired by a car chases at night. Created on the Korg EMX-1 / Kaossilator.
Etude003: Presets Only!
A short minimal-housey thing made exclusively with sound presets. [more inside]
Smallbeat
A simple synth/house song (my first actually), created with the Korg Kaossilator and some distortion effects.

Etude001
A short minimal-glitch etude of sorts made from guitar-fret noise [more inside]
Synthoween
Made in FL Studio in about 40 minutes, in response to a friend's last-minute request for a silly halloween song to play on her radio show. Though I really didn't intend on it, the intro sort of sounds like the intro to the Ghostbusters theme... with scream samples.
a. b. and c. correction
A slightly improved version of an arrythmic techno piece I posted in a badly mastered form the other day.
iamotron
Arrhythmic techno with some thumb piano.
Ordnance v1.0
Auditory weapons for musical wars.
Straphanger (H201E)
A claustrophobic, fast bus ride through the hills of San Francisco. Please hold on. [more inside]
Quasar
I've just discovered Buzz. I had heard of it before, but never tried it; I moved straight from traditional trackers to Fruity Loops / Audiomulch. But now I think I'm hooked, and this is my first effort in it, a bleepy little beat.
Eleven
Fulfilling two of the Challenges for July: Wildcard (music you hate = techno) and Music (ripped off James Bond Theme riff). Also, going for the trifecta, it's a cappella (June's Style Challenge). And it's still July 31st in some parts of the world, so I think this should be allowed in the door.
Profiling
Rob da Bank played this on his Radio 1 show in 2005, so it's my most successful track by a factor of about 1,000,000. I hope you like it.
Rockmoss Remix
- A totally reconstructed remix of Xillon's Rockmoss, from the album It's Ok To Dance. [more inside]
Intro (version)
A new version of a song I had a couple of months ago. Kind of an OCD version.
HRD101A
A a bit of weird hardcore and breaks.
BRK109B
Break experiment 109b. This one goes out to all the phreaks.

Sketch of a more up-tempo house remix for a down-tempo vocal track. Chance to play with a few new plug-ins. [more inside]
Plexiglass Afternoon (Laptop Battle 2007 Version)
This is a live and remixed version of an older track of mine done under the DXM moniker. [more inside]
This Is Why I'm Fantastic
by Fantastic Plastic Mims; my first foray into the mashing of up. Please be kind, this took me well over ten minutes.
You Promised There Would Be Girls [demo]
I wrote and recorded this today - it's basically a stream-of-consciousness account of one of the stranger and more entertaining parties I've attended.
The Biggie Blues
What do you get when cross Notorious B.I.G, Geeshie Wiley, and a subsonic dnb bass? You get The Biggie Blues my friends.
Trinity
My version of the train, only at night and inside of it. Got the idea from watching Animatrix, the scene where Trinity shoots the dick and then jumps out the window.
Locutus
Listen and download quick, before the Paramount lawyers send the Cease and Desist letters. By the way, I cite "Fair Use" for my "sampling". You may also notice that I don't have a musical bone in my body and don't risk my own voice for the lyrics, either. What a wienie!
The Choir Song (two thousand seven mix)
Here's a track I made a while ago that I recently took a new stab at. It sounds retrodancey because well, that's all I could sound like back in the day.
Lufthansa
Going back to my roots: Here's a techno-diddley straight outta Air Deutschland.
Emma Lane
Another laptop song. I'm not sure I like the vocal melody enough that it will will stick. I didn't really "write" it so much as I made it up on the spot several weeks ago at an open mic just after I'd finished the words (which I do like) and the backing track (which I also quite like). I get the feeling I'll get annoyed with it in six months and go back and make up another melody (which has happened several times before). It's the only song I know of about a thief who steals weather.
La toune de Blade.
In 2000, my friends were into the techno track that is featured in the first rave scene in the movie Blade. I was into Bogdan Raczynski. Armed with Goldwave, a Blade OST and 21 lt of Kik Cola, I came up with this for my friends' party. ST-EUSTACHE, REPRESENT.
Class
Unusual music, make with a ukulele, acoustic guitar, and bass, in one shot. Using a MagicStomp as a (very rudimentary) phrase sampler, and Audacity to record. Enjoy
Radio Panda
This one is freshly squeezed.
Rocks And Gravel
This track is built around a beautiful song from Bob Dylan's Freewheelin' Outtakes bootleg. Enjoy!
Acidspit13 (digital, with piano)
Here's a "golden oldie" way back from 2005, it's trancey but breaks convention in an ambient/acid sort of way. Intentionally chillin' groovetrak.
Concerta Helps You Concentrate
1. Do you find that at home, work, or school, your mind wanders from tasks that are uninteresting or difficult?
2. Are you always on the go?
3. Do you find it difficult to read written material unless it is interesting or easy to read?
4.Is it hard for you to wait your turn?
5.Is your mind just in a big ol' clutter?
Then you obviously need Concerta. It helps you concentrate!
This pharmaceutically-inspired technojazz romp reflects my Concerta experiences.
(by the way, they are prescribing you SPEED.)
