What She Says
What She Sees
fading like a flower — millimeters of mercury (roxette cover)
Soooo, after the positive response to my Listen to Your Heart cover, I thought I'd post up the sequel I recently created. Complete with ludicrously exuberant synthesizer solo. Enjoy. This one, too, is a bass-pounding synth-pumping extravaganza. :)
Looking Down The Barrel of The World Famous & Hoopo
A remix of "Looking Down The Barrel Of A Gun" by the Beastie Boys for the January collaboration music challenge, by myself and The World Famous [more inside]
Pord
After reading this post, I was reminded of a beat I made 8 or 9 years back that obviously bites Pharcyde's "Drop". So here it is.
Lingua Franca (Chop It Up)

mmHg - Listen to Your Heart (Roxette cover)
When Roxette recorded this song in 1988, they commented that they were trying to create that "overblown American FM-rock sound." In 2010, I bring it back to America with the overblown American hip-hop/club sound, complete with ferocious auto-tune lines and an all-stops-pulled, everything-and-the-kitchen-sink-and-808-kick-and-crash beat.
I hope you like it!
(I Bring) Trouble
I'm getting back into my decade-old hip-hop project Cap City Mob, and have learned a few new tricks, as well as improved my lyrics and maybe my skills. Here's a taste of one I did this evening. [The not-so-kid-friendly lyrics inside.] [more inside]
Ready for War

Maria...Lorianne... (part two of two)
Spacey, instrumental, bongo-heavy breakbeat-driven jam with vintage analogue organ sounds sampled from a Baldwin Funmachine. Picks up where the first half stopped and has more of a prog-hip-hop vibe than the first section. [more inside]
