Post-Jingle
A speedy entry to atone for my slackness vis-à-vis VU. [more inside]
August Challenge - MeFiMu jingle
Given I'm responsible for this challenge, I guess it's incumbent on me to get the ball rolling. This one features the choir of St Cuthbert-In-The-Mire conducted by the Rev Lemuel Tonks MA.

Femme Fatale (VN+U Cover)
Just getting this under the wire for July's music challenge; it's not quite August 1st, at least not where I live. [more inside]

Venus in Furz
For the VU&Nico challenge. A good example of Garageband falling into the wrong hands. Also, took liberties with chorus. [more inside]
All Tomorrow's Parties (SKIST)
Skist (previously) is my band with singer/sound artist Haruna Ito. Hope you enjoy. I also made a video for the song, which can be seen at YouTube or Vimeo.

In the style of Leonard Cohen. Just kidding.

Track #3 in Pasty Anglophiles' complete re-imagining of the VU+N album. [more inside]
Venus In Furs
This is the one I really wanted to have a crack at, rather than "Sunday Morning" (along with the "Black Angel" my least favourite on the VU+N album) which is what I drew out of the brantub.... Perhaps a little busy on the percussion side, but I hope it retains some of the menace/sleaze that characterises the original. [more inside]
I’m Waiting for the Man
An introspective take on a song that’s a lot more relaxed than it probably should be, given the subject matter.

European Son
I thought I better lower the standard a bit or else people might get put off . . . Anyway this is my version of European Son, possibly the least coverable song of all time, I didn't mind too much I just did what I wanted . . . there is another version with Stephen Hawking with Roger Federer and Andy Roddick on backing but . . . you ain't ready for that
