Made In The Image
New and much improved mix of a song from a few years ago. Kinda rock-metal-electronic fun with a pretty good helping of vocal harmonies. Critique away!
Asteroid Hidden in the Shadow of the Earth
Sure, the world could end Friday. Or Saturday. Or some other Friday 100,000 years from now. 7 minutes of instrumental contemplation, as it flowed in from the sky, last May. [more inside]
A semi-instrumental song given a second life after a decade in the demo wilderness. [more inside]

mmHg - Forever
Enjoy Millimeters of Mercury breaking out some real guitar and being more rock than electronic, and unautotuned except for a vocoded/autotuned effect in the bridge. [more inside]
Another Carbon 7 song from our recent show at the Carousel Lounge. [more inside]
A story of an unexpected journey, and a choice to make; part rock opera, part... wolfdog, I guess. Lyrics inside! [more inside]
Cabbage Patch Kill Dolls - Monster
This is a experimental punk rock song. If you like late Black Flag and early Public Image Ltd stuff you would like this song.
A little music for the holiday. Recorded last New Year's Eve.
Punk rock party jam about a little wiener dog who hangs out a lot at a hair salon in Seattle. [more inside]
City of Silk
This song I recorded in 2007, and is about my birthplace of Paterson, New Jersey, the "City of Silk". I used to go to the famous Passaic River Great Falls (made famous in the Sopranos, when the thugs threw the guy off the bridge)... anyway it doesn't have anything to do with the Sopranos, but just my thoughts when I returned to the bridge after 35 years. [more inside]
An instrumental rock song, I guess. Someone told me that it's about a guy taking off his sunglasses. [more inside]
The Sunset Star
A slow, jazzy improv thing. [more inside]
Titled that because it was the file name Cubase gave it after starting the previous six "ideas." [more inside]
Probably the hardest song off the latest Red On Strike album, the Siren calls the nation to rock! Previously. [more inside]
The Egg That Never Was
Another long instrumental noodle-athon. Making it up as we go. [more inside]
3 AM (Night Of The Cougar)
59 seconds of punk written by Riot Dog's 20 year old drummer Levi, on a subject that should be readily apparent.
She Talks To Rainbows
A Ramones cover from the latest Red On Strike album. For comparison, here's our previous attempt at recording this song, and a video of us doing it live a couple weeks ago.
Starts out atmospheric as we slowly descend through the thickening clouds. [more inside]
The True 300 (Mexican Clowns)
Another Riot Dog song, written by our bass player Steve about 300 clowns who got together in Mexico City to laugh for peace. [more inside]
Surf And Destroy
Some beach music off the new album from my punk band Riot Dog. Oi! Oi! Oi!
Heard and Said
I tried to imagine what Duran Duran's "Notorious" would sound like if it were originally written by Japanese funk band Zoobombs.

In which we jam out on our axxxes. I have temporarily given up even naming these... things. Another long spontaneous session by Carbon 7, my space-rock improvisational trio. [more inside]

Homemade feminist-flavored rock. [more inside]
Third Time's The Charm
I wrote this song about our singer's latest attempt to make things work with her long time boyfriend. Ironically, by the time we got it recorded they had split up again. It is off our new album, which is available for name-your-price download at bandcamp.
One of SMUT's earliest tracks. A tribute to the best little town in Ontario. [more inside]
Unseen Ring of Fire
Another Improvisational thing from my new band Carbon 7. This one's a bit long, at 19 minutes. [more inside]
I've was in a bit of a Beatles mood last weekend, and recorded this as well as my previous post of "And Your Bird Can Sing". It's been fun to redo the songs with my arsenal of sampled orchestra, etc. I'm not the greatest singer, but I've learned a lot listening to the original, and working with my own voice.
When The Morning Comes
Ever get up in the morning, only to learn what happened last night? From our new album Her Own Little World.
In Your Eyes
This song was inspired by our singer's video chats with her long distance beau. It is on the new Red On Strike album Her Own Little World, now available for download on Bandcamp. [more inside]
Move On (What you got?)
This is a balls out little rush of a song that I came up with on my iPhone of all places. After I got the first line I realized it was going to have to continue in the same vein so I went over to AskMe for help. I just meant this to be a rough sketch but I ended up liking the feel of it even though it's ridiculously ragged. The song's a sort of statement of intent, I guess. Equal parts Elvis Costello, Cheap Trick and the Stones, more or less. [more inside]
Band: The Next Hundred Years Album: Troppo [more inside]

Regression is totally sexy, right? This is a nice listless, lofi version of an old song of mine featuring my friend emily's wonderful violin improv. It's a little rough, and I could use some help on rounding off the edges. (oh, and NSFW at the start) [more inside]
A song from the upcoming Red On Strike release Her Own Little World. [more inside]
